EMAIL MARC TATTOO

Born in Strasbourg, France, and currently based in Vancouver, DJ Marc Tattoo has played at numerous events across Western Europe, from private parties to major raves, and is now in demand in the United States and in Canada.
Tattoo’s style depends on the crowd he plays for, but is always positive and upbeat. He prefers happy and tribal House, Hi NRG, Trance and Progressive to hardcore Techno.

Dj-ing for Marc was never works, but always a pleasure and a passion. He delights in sharing his passion for dance music with people, using the turntables as a medium to help people to forget their troubles, to share a vibe of happiness and deliverance: "If at the end of a set I know that I did bring a little of this passion to someone, that I made him feel good for a while, and he let’s me know, it is the best way to thank me and it makes me feel good too!"

During those past years DJ Marc Tattoo has slowly build up his reputation in North America, and his name is synonymous of quality and sunshine over the dance floors. His name was seen beside well-known North American Deejays like Peter Barona, Joe Gauthraux, Matt Consola, Frank Abraham, Stephane Grondin and Barry Harris … And his North American Career took him to play already as main deejay for big Events like the Toronto or Vancouver Gay Pride… at Cancun’s famous upbeat nights … and at Palm Springs 2005 New Year’s Eve Celebration as well as at Calgary’s Pride Events and NYE 2006. His Rave Heritage mixed with his Euro Influence and the Drums Beats of the Canadian West has created something that only those in the Northwest know about so far - but which will be a sound and style that is going to send the Circuit Parties into a new Orbit over the next months.

Marc will probably be in the future synonymous with today’s circuit favorites DJ, and will bring his own personal European touch to the Circuit Parties sounds…

If you happen to come by to Vancouver, you probably might be able to listen to him at CELEBRITIES Club on Davie Street.

DJ Deanne

DJ Deanne
location: Indy., IN

EMAIL DEANNE

Originally from a small town in Kentucky, DJ Deanne currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana. Music has always been present in Deanne’s life. As a child of young parents, Deanne grew up listening to late 70’s and early 80’s rock, funk, R&B and disco artists like Queen, Aerosmith, Isaac Hayes, Earth, Wind & Fire, Rick James and Donna Summer.

In junior high, Deanne would listen to the local college radio station that was playing the freshest music every Friday night. Unaware that it would ever play a part in her future, Deanne began developing her “DJ skills” making mix tapes of nothing more than a collection of the hottest songs recorded from the radio. “I can remember sitting in the dark, past my bedtime, with the music really low, so my mom wouldn’t hear me. I would wait for hours for a certain song to come on, try and perfectly time recording the beginning and the ending of the song so that I got every beat. I would record the next song right behind the other with no gaps, commercials or DJ voices. I would just jam to those mixtapes, but always excited to make a new one. It seems pretty lame, but I had no idea that it would later be a part of my life.”

In 1996 Deanne moved to Tampa and it was here that she got a taste of what club music was all about and what she had been missing by growing up in the Midwest. She immersed herself in the music, trying to find all the tracks she was hearing in the clubs. This continual search for the newest, freshest tracks ignited a fire and unveiled a passion.

It wasn’t until she moved back to the Midwest, in 1999, that the pieces started falling into place. She began spinning at the only club in Bloomington, Indiana with a house music format. In the spring of 2003, Deanne moved to Indianapolis and made her Indy debut spinning at the official Indy Pride Festival T-Dance. Late in 2003, Deanne landed a prime Friday night weekly mix show slot on, Miami-based, Energy Internet Radio/EnergyRadio.fm. A few T-dances and special appearances later, she earned a monthly spot in the rotating line-up at Indy’s hottest club, Talbott Street, which has hosted talents such as Paul Oakenfold, Gabriel and Dresden, Manny Lehman, Barry Harris, Mike Cruz, Twisted Dee, Tracy Young and many more.

With weekend attendance numbers near 1000 at the Indy club, Deanne is no stranger to holding a large dance floor captive to her style of mixing. With influences such as Chicago house legend, Ralphi Rosario, the masterful Junior Vasquez, and the perennial crowd-pleaser, Manny Lehman, Deanne’s DJ style is defined by the spirit and energy of house music. Vocal, progressive, underground and tribal beats and rhythms are combined to take her listeners on a unique journey that is marked with sensuality, undeniable energy, and wonderful “dance floor drama”. “When I really started going to the clubs and hearing how music was supposed to be played, the best DJ’s took me on a musical journey -- a ride. That’s what I want for my listeners, a night of music that they remember and come back for over and over again.”

Deanne can be heard monthly at Talbott Street in Indianapolis. She also makes quarterly appearances at Twist on South Beach. Recent appearances for Deanne include, among others, Dayton’s Flight Party in the summer of 2006 and Chicago’s Fireball Festival in 2005. Her mixshow, FixXxation, can be heard throughout the week on G.I.R.L , Fusion Chicago, Party Radio USA and We Dance As 1. Check out djdeanne.com and myspace.com/djdeanne for more details and exact dates and times of appearances.

VJC started as a DJ back in 1975 in Bronx, NY. He taught himself how to DJ using two Pioneer turntables and a mixer with just a cross-fade (no headphones). Some of the DJs who inspired him to get started on the road to being a DJ were Ted Currier, Shep Pettibone, Tony Humphries, Jellybean, The Latin Rascals, and Larry Levan.

In 1977, VJC started doing Mobile DJ work for events in the New York area. He also had a Live Mix Show from 1989 to 1990 on a NY Radio station called WRTN spinning Disco Classics along with House and Freestyle cuts. After 25 years, he's still doing Mobile DJ work in the New York area.

My DJ style is doing mixes that are different and exciting, and also playing the forgotten Disco Jams. What's important to me in the mix is the collection of songs being put together, making it one long song and telling a story behind it. I mix yesterday's Disco till today's Dance if you're looking for Radio Mix Show DJ. I also do a live Disco Show on the Internet at Live365.com called DISCO935 Rhythm and Soul mixing Disco Classics from the 70's and 80's!"

EMAIL DJ MIKE EVANS

DJ M!KE EVANS (aka DJ Brennan Michael Evans) was born & raised in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, a small city where "disco" was a dirty, nasty word. Never denying his love for the club scene and dance music, as a teenager in the 70s he became a mobile/club DJ with Bob Cooper of Sound Advice. He quickly learned how to mix and knew that his future would be consumed with the touch of vinyl on his fingertips. His record collection began to grow rapidly after becoming a member of the Albany, NY association of DJ's Record Pool. By the time Mike was in high school, it was no surprise to see him transition his talents and take the position of General Manager and Program Director of WTBR-FM (Taconic High School).

With more experience under his belt, he focused on his next move, and in 1978 got a job at a local commercial station, WUPE/WUHN (Whoopee Radio) at the age of 15. Whoopee Radio was quite a shock to the community back then, as the new owners took a free-form album format off the air and blasted Top 40 music that was never heard previously anywhere in the county. After working every possible shift for every DJ who was out sick or on vacation, he was promoted to Music Director in 1982, but made the decision to give up the position and return to college. He went to the University of Miami and graduated with a BBA in Business Management and Organization in 1986. As many career DJs do, Mike went from one station to another, looking for the perfect job: WNWS Miami FL, WBEC-AM/FM Pittsfield MA (Music Director), WUPE/WUHN Pittsfield MA (News Director), WVKZ-AM/FM Schenectady NY, WQQY-FM Saratoga Springs NY (News Director) ... and finally WSSV-FM Stillwater NY. Mike had somehow strayed from his roots as a club DJ, probably due to his success, dedication and hard work in the radio business. So in the early 90s he and got back into the mix at Club 519 in Albany, New York.

All the drinking, late nights and partying in Albany got dull really fast, so Mike said "screw this" and moved to the San Francisco Bay area and picked up weekend air shifts at KTID in San Rafael, California. The city life and abundance of nightclubs was a dream come true and for a few years Mike spent most nights spinning at JR's Nightclub in Walnut Creek, the Whitehorse in Oakland, and at Daddy's Bar in San Francisco. By this time, he needed an extra room just to store his piles of records, and even more came in from his membership in Soundworks Record Pool. Mike worked at KOIT/KDFC/KZQZ in San Francisco as Operations Assistant in the late 90s then moved to Big Bear City, California with his Alaskan Malamute "Nikita". DJ M!KE's style of mixing is truly unique and completely beyond comprehension. It can only be described by Mike, in his own words, "I don't have any style of mixing. If it's good, I play it." Mike Evans has a diverse background in radio and nightclubs, and has a true passion for dance music and broadcasting. He's currently the morning DJ and Music Assistant at K-BEAR 93.3FM in Big Bear City, California... but is presently moving EAST to Nevada!
